It was so nice to be able to get comfort food from Uzbekistan/Russia/Ukraine. The Pelmeni was great and borscht was very nice. We also picked up some traditional cookies and chocolates as well. The owners are very nice people. We'll be heading back soon!

Great food and the staff is super friendly. They even have a small selection of groceries! If you're eating here during the week come early. They get busy. They have some small tables to sit on so you don't have to have your food to go.

My family and I were looking for someplace for a quick meal after a weekend tour of the nearby Iolani Palace. The family owned restaurant had only been open for days, but we found it online. The owners/staff were friendly, and the food was amazing. We ordered a variety of items (most pictured, except an entree that got devoured before I thought to take photos), and everything was exceptional. Marketing Uzbek cuisine won't mean much to most people (including us, before today), but the cuisine will please most mainstream American palates, while tasting distinct and different. For the thousands of folks who work nearby, this should make your regular lunch rotation for sure, and any tourists like us should not miss it.

Unmemorable counter-serve kebabs, etc. There was absolutely nothing special about this place or the food. Decent but bland lamb kebabs over ordinary rice, with lettuce and some shredded pickled carrots, and hunk of bread. Every Greek restaurant I’ve been to was as good or better than this. “Aupah” yogurt drink was totally disgusting, but that’s not part of my rating. Service friendly. Staff appeared Uzbek. Regrettably, would not return.

Small counter place in the downtown pf Honolulu with uzbekish sort of cuisine. You might get some russian groceries as well. The place open for lunch and offering traditional Uzbek fare - plov (pilaf), different types of kebabs and fried lagman (stir fried noodles). Also, the place offering russian golubtsi (staffed cabbage rolls), ukranian borsht (beet-soup) and georgian chihahbili - chicken dish. Service is very friendly but thats about it. Well. The place is quite disappointed. Silk Road Cafe is out of the samsa and manty most significant uzbek cousin dishes. Plov is just a over-fatted rice with over-dry meet served with salad and shredded pickled carrots. And. Never ever order coffee here - you will get just instant 3:1 coffee bag. Just add some boil water. But basically try to avoid that place.

Amazing food which is super tasty!! Was very surprised to find this hidden in downtown. Hurry though because they only make a certain amount of food. Will return anytime we are in downtown.
