A very relaxing place suitable for friends to catch up over drinks. Simple but authentic and delicious Japanese food. Reasonable price. Free parking outside.

Not bad but my food that was suppose to cooked on the yakitori grill came out cold.....just reheated? Not sure but that surprised me.

Food is good with great value! Parking is tricky though, do not go with Google Map, but turn right at the 76 gas station and there are a few spots there. The もつ鍋 and chicken tail is great!

Delicious and simple. Good place to meet up with friends for conversation... As long as you can get parking and a comfortable table.

The food is tasty, I highly recommend the sausage, the onion, and the musubi. However the portions are small for the price. Ordering multiple plates quickly adds up because it takes forever to feel "full" from the menu options. Overall this is a good niche place to go once in a blue moon.

This is my favorite place when I want to remember Japan. The restaurant style, staff, and food are all similar to one of my favorite places in Kanagawa.

This was a very authentic Japanese yakitori experience. The food is amazing, big menu and super friendly staff. We were in Hawaii for a week and this was probably the best meal we had. Go early or make a reservation because this place is popular.

Changing name of restaurant in March 2017 3/3/18 update: So this is the former original Kohnotori. The menu has pretty much stayed exactly the same though. Good prices on drinks and big variety of both grilled sticks, fried items, and izakaya stuff. Easy to fill out the papers at the table with what you're craving and then hand off to waiters. If you want chicken skin, order it early since that usually runs out by end of night if they're busy.
