They're just reopening. Friendly and helpful. Limited inventory till they get settled. I don't like to go to big box stores right now; so they suit my needs even tho I had to climb stairs to 2nd floor. They had what I wanted. Should call first to see if they have what you want.

Small but nice selection. Good colors and the owner was very welcoming and helpful. Also a very good designer/knitter.

A wonderfully stocked resource for knitters. Paula, its owner, has broad and deep experience and expertise, enthusiasm, always helpful, patient, attentive, and a good teacher. Great location, adequate parking, homey atmosphere. Use her Twitter feed for up-to-date hours which though consistently honored can be subject to change.

While vacationing on Maui, I discovered I forgot a set of needles for a project. I called YarnStory and they were so courteous and helpful - finding me just what I wanted and promptly mailing it to me. And easy to pay for via secure online! I only wish I had the time to visit the shop in person.

Nice selection of yarn for such a small store. I enjoyed the walk from my hotel in Ala Moana. I arrived right at 9 and had to wait about 5 minutes before the store opened. It is on the second floor of a building with many other small offices. Lots of cotton yarn selection which makes sense with it being in Hawaii. I did buy wool yarn locally dyed, fiber, and a stone spindle. Free pattern with yarn purchase. Friendly employee!

I may have gone on a bad day. There wasn’t much of a selection of yarns and few notions. The person working there was really nice, though.

Thank you! Thank you!! For getting me back into knitting, this time with a superb mentor so I know I will never need to feel frustrated or lost! Every time I get stuck, I take my project(s) back and I get truly individualized help. The owner honestly must do what she does only for the love of it. And the absolutely gorgeous yarn of all hues and sheen is what got me hooked this time. I started with a very basic scarf (done in two days!). Now I am onto a complex sweater and a stunning huge lacy shawl with confidence! Thank you for spreading happiness!! :)

Like the bamboo cotton yarn selection.
