I had the BEST EXPERIENCE with Julie during our private tour. She went above and beyond to make sure my boyfriend and I enjoyed our hike. She provided photography, a quick snack, and a map for us to navigate the park. She was very knowledgeable and her communication was exceptional. I would highly recommend if you’re someone looking to explore the dunes. Thank you Julie!!

Our family had a great time, highly recommend. The pace was great for all ages (6-56). The beauty of the area really stood out and the reflection into the past was very educational. I enjoy birding so took these images during our hike. Julie id'd the feather as a red-shouldered hawk and the skeleton as a possible merganser. (Hopefully not loon).
We had a great time on our group tour of North Bar Lake area. Our tour guide, Julie, is super knowledgeable about all things Sleeping Bear Dunes! We had a blast getting to know the other folks on our tour and we even shared a surprise snack provided by Sleeping Bear Tour Company!
We really had the best time with Julie! My wife and I had been to Sleeping Bear a couple of times before, but this time we wanted to do more than just the regular drive and sights. It’s an amazing landscape and Julie was really able to show us the area in a whole new perspective during the Shore Hike Tour. It was just the three of us! When we got back home (southeast Michigan), we were surprised about how much we learned and brought back that was relevant, even in our backyard. 100% recommended! Awesome hike with Sleeping Bear Tour Co! Highly recommend this tour during your visit to Traverse City or the Leelanau Peninsula. We did the Free Solo and they created a tour just for us. Our group of intrepid women explorers visited the #9 Lookout and had the place to ourselves.
