My family used Hoods Funeral home for my brother’s funeral 7 years ago and this weekend for my mom’s. They have done a wonderful job both times. They treated us like family and not like customers. They did an amazing job on both my loved ones and we couldn’t be happier. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. They have a hard job, one I wouldn’t want. We thank them for all they have done for us.

when they found out how much the insurance was. that became their \best deal\ just happened to be every last penny I had, which turned out to be a 4,000.00 Cremation, with no visitation no flowers no nothing, but a Hood Funeral Home calendar and a cardboard box containing my WWII Veteran Grandfathers ashes.
My family has used Hood Funeral home for the past 16 years and have always been pleased with the level of service. They are very professional, and organized.
This was a horrible experience with this place and these directors. The didn't give the family any sympathy or did the recpect our wishes. The shirt we provided for our cousin wasn't\u200b big enough so we bought another. Instead\u200bof letting us know that shirt wouldn't work they took upon themselves to put an ugly white suit jacket with blue pin strips on him. Our cousin didn't look like himself at all. Hair was not fixed the way he wore it.At the graveyard the director rushed us off. Then had a large service truck that was with the funeral home parked in the way so people could not leave. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a funeral home.

Horrible, horrible place. They treat families disgustingly during a very painful time in their life. They over price everything, they do not respect contracts and they have zero respect for the person who has passed. Would not recommend. If anything, they need to be reported and investigated by the CFB. Way to exploit families during an already difficult time in their life.
