Too expensive. I used to go here all summer and rent canoes when I was a teenager on kid money. now it's 75 for 3 hours? I make 100K and I can't afford it? If you're willing to pay this, just let me tell you it's a rip off. And all you people giving 4 and 5 stars on the review are encouraging this outrageous rip off to continue. I'm going to have to buy a canoe it looks like. Seriously when you go to these places please complain because it's just not right. They should only be charging 20 to 25 for the first hour and maybe 6 per hour after that. You are being way over charged. Don't put up with it.

I have a season pass this year and most of my kayaking has been done at the Natick and Newton locations. The staff is good and the kayaks are fine, but it's been frustrating since they tend to close anytime there's a chance of rain. It can be wonderful to kayak in a light rain, but there have also been a number of gorgeous afternoons, perfect for kayaking, when the Newton location has been closed because it rained in the morning. As a season pass owner, I feel like it's been hard to get my money's worth out of the pass since they're closed so frequently. I liked it better when Charles River Canoe and Kayak ran the Newton location. They were ALWAYS open when they were supposed to be open.
Great location! Highly recommend
Helpful staff, beautiful locale. Relatively affordable as kayak rentals go. Wish that they had monthly subscriptions, as buying a season pass is out of reach for me. Will definitely be returning as we are able.
