Unfortunately for me, I was briefly employed here as an instructor. This \school\ gives a bad name to bar schools everywhere. I was asked to make a whole new course syllabus when I started, so they aren't operating under any proven or standard methods of training. On two separate occasions I showed up for work and I couldn't even get in the building, I was so embarrassed the second time, as I stood in a crowd of baffled and confused students anxiously waiting to get in the door as well, that I actually pretended to be a student myself. When I couldn't get in the building there was nobody to answer my phone calls, and there is still nobody returning my calls now because they owe me money... During my short tenure there I had to fight just to get the \managers?\ to provide simple things such as ice and proper glassware, and most of the time I ended up purchasing said items with my own money so that the students had the correct tools to learn with. They also promise you the world when signing up, but they are not there for continued support once they have your money. There is no job placement/assistance program, and I cannot stress this enough, ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY that is all they want from you. Class schedules are constantly changing and there is rarely a person in the office to help you, and if there is they are likely incompetent, with little to no food and beverage experience. BUYER BEWARE! There are much better options to learn how to bartend, don't let these people trick you and take your money, they give a bad name to bar schools everywhere!
