This place was awesome. Don and his son were great and friendly. The cabins are old school and something you need to experience. I didnt want to leave I loved them! A Perfect place to stay if you plan on grilling out...drinking some beer...and going fishing. Hey Don...hope you enjoy those jalapeno cheddar brats I gave ya and thanks for the hospitality. Will see you again this summer.

This resort is been renovated. Their rental homes are just that, nice clean houses ! The owner is very particular, and pleasant . They have boat rentals, pontoons, small fishing boats. Nice beach & a playground for children. Centrally located on the lake. With all amenities close by. Even a liquor/party store right next door.
Drove up from Cincinnati Ohio for a 3 day ice fishing trip, transmission went out on arrival, had to stay for 3 more days until truck was finished, room was clean an bug free,if it wasn't for Don an his son brian, them I would of been sleeping in my shanty for 3 days, thanks again, cant tell you guys how much I appreciate you an thanks Brian for pointing us to some fish. Definitely will be back thanks again
Great place to come and just relax! Spent many vacations here as a kid and have been bringing my kids! Close to Amusement stuff, Bars and restaurants. Not far from Walmart if needing other things! Pontoons to rent for the day as well as fishing boats! They have Motel room’s, few Apartments and Cottages that are 2 and 3 bedrooms. They are open all year round for fall travelers and hunters and Snowmobiling, ice fishing in winter! Large bait store right next door. Kayaking and Canoeing and Traverse city, not far away! Always have a great time here! Thanks Don and Brian! See ya guys next year! Missinne Family!
Stayed for tip up town! Had a blast even though the festival was canceled. Perfect, clean, and affordable thanks a ton !!
Myself and my friends family stayed here, I had an apartment she had a motel room. My apartment was not bad, the furniture and bedding could use some updating but nothing too bad. The motel rooms shower definitely needs to be replaced as it had rust all over it and my friends ended up coming over to use my shower. My biggest complaint would be the old raggedy stinky couches that are sitting on the porch outside of the rooms, they need to be thrown out. Our gang along with the neighbors refused to sit on them and the neighbors also complained about how stinky they were. Onto the good....the beach area was great, lots of toys for the kids to play with along with the slide in the water. Big area for the kids to run around and loved that they had a volleyball net. The owner was very nice and helpful with anything we needed. Was able to book this last minute which was nice because I wasn't having any luck anywhere else. The price for the apartment was reasonable. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.
We had an excellent time. Cabins were very quaint and retro.
My partner and I rented a pontoon for the day. Clean and well maintained. No surprises on the rental price. Lake was beautiful and we had a great time. The guy we rented the pontoon from was very knowledgeable about the lake and informed us of where to go and steer clear of. We will be back and will look into renting cabins from him in the future.
