Its hard to get in contact with the caseworker I had. Does not respond to emails, when she says it was not asked as a question, when finally talking to her on phone. When there was a question mark at the end of the sentence in email. People regardless of Disability should be treated with respect and courtesy and not a nuisance when calling like we are a waste of their time. Phone calls rarely get in contact with, seems they work half days. I started the HUD program, in result got old paperwork, with old information on how the process works. Why give that out, how hard is it to get new paperwork with information to people starting out getting housing for low income families. They need to be more thorough with their inspections, since the government provides the assistance to low income, homeless, and disabled people that look for housing. There should be strict guidelines for landlord maintenance. HAOJ needs retraining on inspections, being able to reach your caseworker, respect those who are seeking assistance via phone, email or in person, no matter if they are disabled, homeless, race, ethnicity etc. To help out people looking for housing and look at the reviews of places you are looking at to rent, check out Reviewmylandlord.com. Help people out and post your experience that you had. They can background check you, you can do the same before renting a place. Like Cartman says, Respect my Authoritah!

I'm sure this is a tough job! Everyone seems to be friendly and professional. While it's not their job to find the properties for the renters, they do provide some contacts to help in the search, which is very helpful.

They never fix anything not even showing up then they( maintenance tell the office the job has been done and you have to call the Federal HUD to make a complaint and then they find ways to harass you for complaing!!!
