I donate at a local Austin, TX plasma center (BPL), and recently I saw something disturbing in regards to one of your security officers. Security officer Steve Edwards was interacting with another donor about buying a marijuana cartridge of oil. He indicated to the donor that he likes to get high when he’s not at work or even sometimes when he goes bowling. I was surprised that the company allows its employees to do drugs and still maintain a job. This company should really test the employees for drugs and do a thorough background check. Not a good representation of your company. Truly disturbing!!!!

I am a security officer for a company that does security for a store at a mall type property. Adm works for the mall patrolling parking lots. I am on a daily basis getting complaints from customers on how rude and condescending these adm people are. I have also seen this first hand. On top of being rude and condescending they are extremely nosey and unprofessional. How are they unprofessional you ask? They are always on there phones, talking on them, blaring music, watching videos. They also enjoy sitting around and talking with each other instead of patrolling and doing there job. Please be advised that this company is far from a professional Security company from what I have seen. I wouldn't hire this company if they were the only one left.

Security officer STEVE EDWARDS at BPL Austin Airport Blvd is consistently rude and mean to all donors. He talks loud and condescending to us, even when new donors come in unsure of what to do, he speaks to them rudely as well. He makes it uncomfortable for donors because he can be very aggressive and confrontational. Each time I go, he appears to have an attitude and walks around dictating and constantly embarrassing others by pointing out what they’re doing wrong or degrading them because of a wait for health reasons. Example, the new line set up was confusing for some donors. Security officer Edwards was pointing and raising his voice making a spectacle out of an innocent mistake, or if a person’s blood pressure is too high, he likes to make a comment. That’s not his place to discuss those issues or give unsolicited advice to the donor. He’s also very intimidating to a lot of donors...like me. As a woman, I would like to think that security is there to help and make things safer. But Mr. Edwards does the opposite. He’s mean and lacks the proper skills to do his job professionally. Personally, I think he could use more training and/or be removed from his post at BPL because his temperament doesn’t represent ADM Security or BPL well. MG

I was at meyerland heb couple days ago. Lost my car. Tried to ask for help from one of the mall cops on a cart. Me: can you help me find my car? Female adm guard: what kind of car? Me: white nissan Altima Female adm guard: do you realise how many altimas are here!? The guard went back to talking on the phone and driving away. Awful customer service. Saw the other guard in her car. Heres a picture so you can see how UNprofessional these people are.

Meyerland HEB Security officer was just sitting in personal car in the middle of the road in parking garage, no decals or lights on vehicle. Saw a SEAL Security Officer walk up to the vehicle and talk to the person inside and walk away. I approached the officer and asked what was going on. He said it was adm security. Felt good knowing at least SEAL was there, very professional.
