I don’t know why I picked up the phone to call Mrs Afua but I’m glad I did. My first hospital birth ended with the tearing of my womb inside and out, an “infected placenta” that I wasn’t able to encapsulate, the possible inability to give birth naturally and the absolutely unnecessary Severe Erbs Palsy injury to my first born son leaving his arm paralyzed. Here I am pregnant again and scared to trust medical science again...it’s honestly too late for me to have a plan B..I can’t afford a midwife as amazing as Mrs. Afua but in speaking with her today she listened to my story and advised me as if I was one of her own clients to listen to my body, to talk to my baby and to make sure I have a solid plan for this next delivery. Her words of wisdom honestly made me cry and I wish that any woman reading this review who is looking for a midwife to turn to Mrs. Afua. I wish I had known of her months ago..now I have to rely on the medicine that let me down before but using her wisdom I’m much more comfortable with that decision. I thank you and appreciate you.
