I have done business with APG for almost 20 years now and I really don't have anything positive to say about their Customer Service relations. I thought maybe it was the the company that I was working for but I've since worked with two other companies and its still the same quality. They have never responded back in a timely manner. Any time I have tried calling to speak to someone, I get passed around to multiple people, if I am even lucky that someone answers the phone. It usually takes me emailing and cc'ing multiple people on the emails just to get a response. And usually its just an automatic response that someone from their team will get with me as soon as possible. Again, if I'm lucky when I send an order to them, they will process the order and then screw up when they send me my product. Then I have to start the headache all over to get someone on the phone or to even respond to my emails to fix the problem. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to go back to them to request the same info I had on my purchase orders. I have had instances where I have requested a specific material ( in which is listed on their website) and they will supply me something different without even contacting me. Very frustrating.

I would like to give a good review, but unfortunately their communication is very poor; in fact, almost non-existent. Our company lists over 12,000 line items of their products on our eCommerce site. However, I am about to have to remove them due to the fact that despite several requests and follow-ups, they cannot or will not provide us a file with current pricing. I've been repeatedly trying to get this info from their Marketing Manager (I even provided a template), and I'm disappointed that he has not even bothered to acknowledge the request.

The last 2 orders I placed have \fallen through the cracks\. And, once they were filled, the invoices were insane! 3 items ordered, but each invoice was 3 pages long!!! Seriously?? They may have a new system, but it's definitely NOT a better one!!

Our company has been purchasing from APG for as long as I can remember ( 30 years and counting). That said, they have never had above average service. They are, and always have been, slow to respond to requests for quotes, and order confirmations. Their pricing is .... eh .... competitive, but a little higher than my local source ...BUT ... APG does have the best availability on standard orings out of all of my suppliers. I have to give them kudos on stock levels. I'd love to see more knowledgeable CSRs and quicker response times so I can bring them more business.
