I am the General Manger For Tropical Smoothie Cafe , I have had nothing but problems with the trucks I have been receiving, First and foremost they are ALWAYS LATE. Half the time they don't even have all of the product I ordered, The other half its bad quality product, the lettuce is generally wilted and the bananas are always overly ripe even when asking for green bananas. You should not load your drivers with so many loads in a truck and hire more employees. Perhaps then maybe people will receive their trucks on time. I have literally had to call every single truck to find out where my driver may be. Most of the time the driver doesn't answer and its most likely because they are overworked and don't have time to answer the phone, because they are just trying to finish their job.
I was driving down 1960 this morning and a Brothers Produce truck almost hit a car, yet the company driver was looking at the car driver crazy! I was so shocked that he would act like that in a company truck! He was rude, and wrong actually w/his driving! Now that I see the reviews about them, its understandable!!
Brothers produce for being such a big Warehouse and being a place for the district schools and and supplier for other companies they need better Administration I came to unload I've got here and the guy that's receiving does not have enough education to run the receiving department I came in to unload and the guy said he couldn't unload me because he didn't you how to print the receiving tickets for the merchandise this is on a Sunday where they're supposed to be receiving from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. I noticed they have a bunch of illegal people working for this place this is a place to supplies produce for all the schools in Houston Dallas Austin Rio Grande Valley Lake Charles and Corpus Christi there's a real big problem here somebody needs to look into it and start by firing whoever's in charge of the administration here
During the winter storm of 2021 the whole produce row shut down.....except 1, brothers produce. They ran 24/7 to provide for houston. I sat for 3 days waiting to unload at hardies cuz noone wanted to work.
