Really nice quality costumes here, great for ren fest or those who really want to stand out this Halloween. Staff was friendly and there were many associates available to help. Only downside was that they didn't have air conditioning when I went, so it was too hot to take my time and try things on. They did have large fans to help with the heat, but we went in the afternoon so there was no helping it. Would return on a cooler day.

My girlfriend and I, went to a Gatsby themed party. So lucky to have found this place, this was a very last minute idea. I was taken very good care of personally, and will be a repeat customer, if any more parties like that come up. Don't waste money on cheap looking costumes, dress the part and shop here.
1st time in this amazing store. They have been there for years and I never knew. The owners are retiring. They have every costume you can imagine. It was like being in a candy store. The costumes and accessories are so detailed. The prices are reasonable. They are closing soon. If recommend you make a dash over there before I return (smile).
Finest costume shop on the planet! These guys are like the super costume shop! I found hundreds of high quality costumes here! The employees there really know their stuff and the stuff is so well organized! I even met Mr. Frankel himself! The dude was really nice and he even stopped to help me find something for my costume.
I bought 3 costumes for 425 right at closing (Friday 6pm 28 July) for a party the next day at noon. We accidentally purchased one of the costumes too small. I came back the next morning at opening to exchange it for a larger size, which they did have, and the owner/manager said "no" and was super rude about it. He told me I needed to purchase a new costume. I didn't request money back, I only wanted to get one size larger. Never shop here!!! Rude customer service.
We Love Frankel's!!! I have been shopping here for over 30 years & they have everything. The staff is super helpful! Selection is great! Also, excellent sales! My parents would bring us to Frankel's & now I get to bring my 3 boys!! I love this Houston treasure!!! Thank you Frankel's for being a great store!
I'm sorry to see Frankel's Costume Co. go. I have been a customer for a very long time -- since the old days of Morty's! When I first started performing the Merlin character at TRF, Lonnie and Terrie gave me a lot of help. I hope they enjoy retirement!
Overpriced... I used to be a regular here. I bought all my makeup powders from here. When I showed up today they went from 20 to 25 to 37. I checked online for the product. 12.99 plus 5 for shipping. I guess I'll spend my money on amazon. This was very surprising. I will not be returning
