Fantastic experience here. Food was pretty good, and our server Charie was very sweet. She showed incredible patience, especially with the guests that happened to sit next to our party. Large variety of noodles, seafood, veggies and sauces were available to customize your hot pot. Oh, and everyone gets their own hot pot at the table. Freaking incredible. After overeating because you know you will at a buffet, you then gain access to the dessert level - ice cream! Be sure to wear your finest stretchy pants. You will need them!

This place is amazing! Our server, Jen, was awesome! They explained everything, got us samples for the broth, showed me an amazing sauce mixture, and was very attentive. The buffet even has gloves for diners to use. 15/10 experience, and I can't wait to come back!

After having experienced The Melting Pot, I expected a similar experience with a different menu. I couldn't be more wrong. The tables are set up in a way where each person gets their desired broth, you can control the temperature, and there is a diverse salad bar to compliment the protein options. Our server, Harry, was extremely helpful and showed us how to get the most out of our experience. The dinner menu is by far the best bang for your buck, and if possible, try to make it through all nine meat options, you won't regret it. The quality of the food, the attentiveness of the staff, the cleanliness and covid-19 safety measures all made this an amazing experience. I cannot wait to introduce my friends to this.

I love this place. It is less than a mile from my place. I used to drive 15 to 25 miles to have hot pot. The broth is very flavorful. Excellent meat. The seafood are fresh. Shrimp, crab, oysters, scallops are very good. Plenty of fresh vegetables. Service fast and friendly.

I love the customer service and the ingredients selection here! Our server was super kind and she was very attentive. I went during dinner and lunch but regarding the meat, it was more worth for me to go on weekdays lunch time. I like the brisket and pork belly the most! The broth I chose is tonkatsu which is a pork based broth.

I have wanted to try hot pot for years, but did not want to leave my bubble that is the Clear Lake area! So when I learned that Go Shabu had opened, needless to say, I was ecstatic! We had reservations since there were 8 of us, and we were seated immediately. Gen was our server and she was fantastic! As 6 of the 8 of us had never been, she explained the process and even brought out a sample of each of the different bases so that we could try them all before committing to one (she did this at my request, it's not necessarily something they just do). I chose the Go Shabu Spicy and it was delicious! I would also recommend the curry base, as it was good, too! Each table gets 3 meat choices ... so my husband and I got the chicken and beef strip, and my parents (who were at our table) got the brisket, and later got more chicken. They bring out as much as you need! They also have eggs in case you want to drop it in the soup and hard boil it or crack it open and cook it! Their buffet bar offers gloves & hand sanitizer for your use, which is nice. Here you will find dipping sauces, veggies, seafood, even kimchi! Once you have your base, you are ready to cook and you have basic cooking times at the table. Don't forget to grab some ice cream to cleanse the palate! They offer red bean, green tea, cookies & cream, strawberry, vanilla and chocolate! The red bean was hands down the best! They are also part of Bay Area Houston Food Lovers group, so you do get a discount on the card holder's entree, and my parents each received the Senior discount. This is a great addition to the Clear Lake area and we are happy to have them for some variety!

The food and service was amazing! It was my Mother and my first time eating hot pot and the waiting staff was super helpful. One even showed me his favorite sauce to make. The food and broth was superb. Everything came out quick and fresh. Can't wait to bring my friends and family.
