So clean and wonderfully fresh. I had the jasmine milk tea and my wife the mango. Very fresh and refreshing. It it wasn't overly sweet or packed with ice. We enjoyed this so well. Thank you for having us

The taro milk tea here is some of the freshest and most delicious taro milk tea I've ever had. Also tried the wintermelon lemon tea, that was delightfully refreshing. Snacked on some spicy fried chicken bites that were delicious as well. Highly recommend checking this place out for a quick pick me up.

Golden Oolong use to be one of my most favorite tapioca place.. and I love their popcorn chicken. They have really good food.. popcorn chicken, fried tofu, fried oyster mushrooms and rice mince pork..BUT things changed a lot and they lack consistency in their drinks, foods and customer service. I use to love their green milk tea and there would always be tea leaves in my tea.. I could not stand it anymore and stop buying tea from them. Then I still buy popcorn chicken and their oyster mushrooms when I'm in the area.. which are delicious. I order mild spicy oyster mushroom and mild spicy popcorn chicken for my husband and I.. and no spicy popcorn chicken for my little kids. I order through the chownow app which is so convenient for quick pick up on the go.. after we left and I was looking at the food.. I noticed that everything was spicy and couldn't feed my daughter the popcorn chicken.. so I called and told them and they were like, "did you want us to make a new one?" And I said yes.. I'm down the street picking up drinks and will be right back to return you one for non spicey. After I got back and told the girl there and showed her that both were spicy and she said which one you want to keep. I kept one and she just gave me the other bag. I understand mistakes happen and I was fine coming back to exchange it.. but no apology or anything. Really?! I am not one to usually complain.. especially since I've been going to Golden Oolong since they first open. BUT I think this is where I draw my line and they need to fix their training on food, drinks and customer service before I come back. There are many good tea places in Houston, they really need to step up their game. They need staff like Kimberly who use to work there.. because I am so disappointed.

Decide to try out the tea house because I was in the area, the coconut milk tea tasted very weak and bitter while the Thai tea as well was weak and overly sweet. Seeing as this was my first time I should not have Texas sized my coconut milk tea. Honestly I will just stick to bellaire and surrounding areas because the drinks were beyond disappointing, as far as milk teas go.

Had an overall negative experience on my first visit. I asked for a separate packet of sugar because I don’t like my hot tea very sweet. So I was told that they cannot do that! I opted to have my drink unsweetened, which I do not prefer. Then I noticed from reading the reviews that they can sweeten the drink to order. The gentleman at the cashier could’ve just offered that! The green tea flavor was just not good at all. And the drink was barely warm. This was the most painful 4.30 that I paid for a cup of tea. I just couldn’t drink it. I’m not giving 1 star because I’m partially faulting myself for not explicitly requesting to sweeten to order. Also from reading the other reviews I figured that the place cannot be that bad. I really didn’t want to hurt their ratings by my review, hence putting 3 stars.

Love Asian tea houses. This one has the large selection of tea/tapioca tea as many others do and also finger foods! I love the option to choose the sweetness level so that I don’t get to hit in the face with sugar punches. The food here is good. Love the fried tofu. Ask for the spicy if you like it hot. Just watch for the kick. My mouth is still on fire... Happy eating.
