After coming by to check out classes by direction of my friend (Azeem), I’ve fallen in love with the atmosphere at GB Westchase! I’ve attended a couple classes and sparring sessions so far, and one thing is clear: this is the place to go if you want to get better! A great place to not only learn techniques, but be pushed to the next level. Amazing direction from every professor and coach and a great family-style atmosphere. Everyone is just looking to get better. Love going here whenever I get the chance! I look forward to more classes and reaching new horizons with everyone at GB Westchase.

I've been at GB Westchase the past three months. The professors and coaches here are excellent at what they do. I started with the Women's only class which made me feel very comfortable getting familiar with the general class flow. When my schedule changed I was hesitant to join the coed BJJ classes, however Prof. Ulpiano, Pedro, and even visiting professors always make a point to ensure I have a safe training partner for my size and skill level. They of course do this for men who are new, but I especially appreciate their attention to ensuring their students are set up to avoid unnecessary injuries. When there isn't an appropriate partner, they will train with me instead. Per other reviews the facilities are clean, well maintained, and they have taken care to request for everyone to comply with required COVID precautions. I look forward to my children starting when they're old enough. I can't recommend enough for any female considering training BJJ. If you aren't, you should. GB Westchase will make you feel at home and take care of you!
I just started training here and the professors, coaches and my fellow classmates have all been extremely welcoming and helpful. It has been a great experience. Ulpiano and Pedro have a way of teaching that benefits everyone from beginners to very advanced. I could tell from day one that I made the right choice by joining the team at Gracie Barra Westchase!
I highly recommend you don't go to this place. I used to be a member there a couple years ago. I decided I wanted to start doing Jiu Jitsu again. I called them over the phone and they said I could renew my membership and pay the same amount I used to which was 120 a month. A couple weeks later and i called on the phone to schedule a class and they told me it'll be 170 a month. I told them that I was told that I'd pay my old monthly payments. They told me the company rules had changed and they couldn't do that. They tried to scam me into paying more then I was supposed to. I suggest signing up at the UFC gym that opened up in Sugar Land. They offer a membership for 90 dollars a month that includes a weight room, Jiu Jitsu, boxing and many other classes all for just 90 a month.
Best and cleanest Jiu-Jitsu/MMA gym in Houston. Best instructors. This is the only place you need to go if you want to become a great martial artist.
