Tyler, the manager, is extremely knowledgeable about all things card games. The store is a great and safe place to be during the pandemic. Jon, the owner, is definitely fair in pricing and cares about his customers. I have been going here for a long time, over 5 years, and I can honestly say Heroes is the best gaming shop in Houston. I’ve been to them all, but Heroes definitely is the only place I will go for cards, supplies, and tournaments when we can safely have them again.

MTG beginner and they are very helpful here. Didn't feel pressured into buying anything I didn't need but helped me understand some cards. Came in looking for some of the Godzilla cards and was able to get my hands on some. Very friendly environment. 10/10

Avoid this shop First negative review I’ve had to do. I absolutely can back up the other reviews that point out how rude the guy who runs the shop is. Just started collecting cards and the guy that runs this shop is the rudest guy I’ve ever encountered in all the shops I’ve been to. Every interaction he has with me is like he hates me. I’ve tried buying cards, looking at cards, selling my own cards and I ALWAYS get a dismissive “no” with attitude. I’ve seen him literally go from nice and welcoming jovial attitude to a customer and even giving them free product and then turn to me and give me a dismissive “what do you want? Is that it? No sir, I’m still pricing those cards. That’ll be 67.87” I guess trying to negotiate prices soured him on dealing with me. Real gatekeeper attitude. It’s like pulling teeth every time I talk to him. This last visit was the last straw. I should’ve just walked out with the way he talked to me. Tried to give the guy the benefit of the doubt Time and time again but I’ve had enough. Will never shop here again. And no one should either.

Best Shop in town! I've been going on and off to Heroes for a good 8 years now and the only negitive interaction(s) I've had, have been with a handful of other customers. Staff is always willing to help out and are always friendly. Will always be the place I go to for any of my MTG needs.
