Chris and the guys really did a wonderful job installing a complete Control4 audio, security and wireless networking system in our restaurant, The '401 Table & Tap. The job included 70V pendant/ceiling/wall mounted speakers, amplifier, battery backup, Control4 controller, security camera hard drive, networking switch/routers, all installed in a fan-cooled rack. In addition, Chris and crew wall mounted all TV's and added Control4 dimmers and IR repeaters, so all lights and TV’s can be controlled via the Control4 app. When we open the restaurant in the morning, all speakers, lights and TV’s can be turned on at the touch of a button on our phones! Chris has programmed everything beautifully, and we especially appreciate the lights automatically dimming in the evening. We were so happy with the restaurant installation that we had the Houston Custom Installer team come back to install a projector, 130” retractable screen, speakers, subwoofers, and wireless networking in our private event room next door to our restaurant. We’ve received numerous compliments on this system from our guests for picture, sound quality and most of all - convenience. They can wirelessly connect to Apple TV or Amazon Fire TV with their phones and laptops for slideshows or business meetings, and Chris added an iPad on the wall so guests can use our Pandora or Tidal music streaming apps for dance parties. Apart from the installation, if we ever have trouble or need assistance, Chris and the crew are always a phone call away. In the restaurant business, our equipment must be fully functional at all times, and prompt customer service is the most important qualification I’m looking for. There has to be an ongoing relationship, and these guys just absolutely deliver and we can rest assured we’re in good hands. I was so pleased with the customer service I received from Houston Custom Installers. I wanted to install a Mantel Mount TV mount (which I AND my Houston Custom Installers installer would highly recommend) over my fireplace so I could easily lower the TV to eye level for easier viewing. Houston Custom Installers said they did not carry this mount but that they could easily install it if I ordered it. Their availability to installer was excellent! In fact, they were able to install it earlier than I first scheduled. My installer was so nice and competent. As an aside, I researched Houston Custom Installers prior to hiring them, even going so far as locating and visiting their office prior to contacting them to make sure they were legitimate. Their office location was very friendly and helpful and reassuring. I did all my communications via email to work around my work schedule. Thur were very timely in their responses. I would recommend them without reservation!

HCI installed Control4 on my new construction home a year and half ago. The Control4 system they installed has been great. But most important to me is that HCI is on top of the constantly changing updates and service ofderings of Control4. HCI and their staff are very responsive to my needs and they can solve many problems remotely so I don't have to disrupt my day. I had shopped around for the right partner to build an affordable, custome solution that even prevented me from getting in my own way and overspending. HCI went above and beyond to make sure my éntry gate was wierd to Control4 by digging a trench from my front gate to my main Control4 controller. HCI even installed 3 additional cameras on my house when there was no space in the network but they built a switch panel that was able to integrate the new cameras to the Control4 app and I can see my house is secure 24/7. They also are great with security systems. The builder only out one security panel in my house, HCI was able to install a second security panel PLUS connect it to Control4 so I can arm and disarm my security system from my phone. The Control4 installation that HCI has done has given me peace of mind even when I travel across the globe that I can monitor my house through Control4. It is great to be able to turn on and off lights and music in my house from anywhere giving me that extra sense of security that I can make it appear that someone is home. I would give HCI and Control4 more than 5 stars if I could.
