I've gotten to intern here this past month and it has been such a great experience! The entire Houston Family Nutrition staff is always helpful and willing to go the extra mile to achieve your goals! They're very accommodating and personable, and they try to get to know their clients on a deeper basis than just food. I couldn't recommend Houston Family Nutrition more!

This team is high caliber! Jen Wolfe, your Client Experience Coordinator, is the best mix of friendly, caring, professional, and warm. The team is led by Moe Schlachter who is highly compassionate and knowledgeable. You will feel heard and respected from the start of your journey. He is constantly using his skills in addition to looking for new ways to meet his clients where they are to ensure quality care at every turn. His team of dietitians, Grace Otum, Kassi Beasley, and Denny Dao follow suit. The whole team is wonderful and I’m honored to have them as colleagues and contacts. You’re in good hands with Moe and his team!
Houston Family Nutrition is the best place to go if you have any nutrition concerns or questions. The staff is highly educated and extremely helpful. They work late to ensure you get the best care and never make you feel less than a top priority. Moe will get to know you beyond your health concerns and go out of his way to help you achieve your goals. I could not recommend this place more. 5 stars just is not enough!
Had the pleasure of doing my community rotation at HFN during my dietetic internship. The experience was extremely valuable. The team is great and very cohesive. As a preceptor/mentor Moe takes the time to teach the fundamentals to allow you to learn from the ground up as a future dietitian. I can see why his clients depend and trust him very much. The opportunities at HFN were unique and very educational. I was able to learn how to be a better dietitian and business-minded person as well. I highly recommend other dietetic interns to consider doing their rotation at HFN.
Moe Schlachter is an amazing coach! He is truly sensitive to his clients and knows exactly how to help you achieve your goals. With his patience and expert guidance, I was able to accomplish everything I wanted, and Moe was there every step of the way to reassure me that everything would work out. I highly recommend trusting Moe with your questions, needs, and for the best advice fit for your own success!
