They manage personal data poorly and spam users. I purchased their product, Sqlyog, years ago, using an unique email address to the company, and I get emails from Dean Thomas asking if I'm interested in renewing my subscription. After replying with no, i still get the same marketing emails and my unique email address is being added to other companies' email lists without my permission (since May 2019), so either their databases are leaking data or they sold my data. Either way, I have no desire to work with a company that sends me spam and mishandles my data.

Good company - I remember them when they got started years ago operating out of a couple of houses on Lovett. They were a good company then and they've grown to be a better company. Their Microsoft SQL Server tools are a standard and respected suite of database utilities in the database community.
