Kimono Zulu offers fantastic vintage kimono pieces from Japan! The textiles alone are a work of art and since it’s vintage, they’re one of a kind. I have swapped wearing cardigans with both my short and long pieces and have a small collection now—goes great with jeans, dresses, skirts.. anything really. They are perfect for travel. Something easy to throw on but has great aesthetic and style, sans the ironing! These kimonos are now part of my fashion essentials for the comfort, ease and style. I also consider my kimonos as heirloom pieces worth the investment.
I’ve known Tina and Josh going on ten years and have always loved the creativity and style they bring to any endeavor. On a lark, a friend purchased one of their kimonos for me. Note: this friend lived in Tokyo for 12 years, speaks fluent Japanese, and is possibly the most fashionable person I know. For her to make the purchase already says a lot, and the kimono is stunning. Tasteful pattern and incredible fabric - certainly something for a formal occasion calling for national dress. I only wish I could get by wearing a kimono every day!
Kimonos are classic. Kimono Zulu is the only place to find pre-select curated vintage hard to find pieces. I have one for every occasion. Scored this one, it just spoke to me!

Love, love, LOVE Kimono Zulu! The selections are always beautiful, unique and plentiful. Tina is the best at helping you find the perfect kimono. There are so many different styles to choose from and the prices are reasonable for vintage Japanese fabrics. I always receive so many compliments on mine. I have three kimonos from Kimono Zulu and absolutely treasure them. I use them to sass up my wardrobe when going out. Throw one on, and you’re glam to go. Also appreciate Tina Zulu’s enthusiasm and eye for style— she definitely knows what looks good for you!
Kimono Zulu is the best! Some girlfriends and I were outfitted for a soirée last year by Kimono Zulu and she did a fab job. Tina helped each of us find the perfect fashionable kimono to match our interests and personalities!
