The Chicken Katsu & Udon was absolutely delicious!! It was made fresh right in the open! The atmosphere and customer service was awesome! Good price for the amount of food! This restaurant will become a regular visit for me. Thank you.

I got the Pork Katsu &curry and as a Indian I have to say the curry is absolutely amazing! And pork is cooked to perfection, love how soft the sticky rice is and not sure what they put on the salad but it's a flavor party in my mouth! This was my first time here and definitely going to add it to my favorites list!

My wife loves Katsu with East Asian style curry. Seen this place in an Instagram post and knew she had to try it. We went on a Saturday evening, not too busy. I like that the menu is not big. I prefer smaller menus at places. If you are good at something, make that your main focus. The menu basically has three choices, Katsu, Katsu with curry and rice, Katsu with udon noodles. There are some extras, but these are the main attractions. My wife ordered the chicken Katsu curry plate. I ordered the cheese Katsu curry plate. My cheese Katsu was really good. Her chicken was phenomenal. The plates come with the Katsu of your choice, rice, salad, curry, and macaroni salad. I ordered take-home for my son. He got the chicken Katsu curry udon. Again, great flavor. I also like they prepare the Katsu in the open. You see them pounding it out. Breading it, and frying it. Service was very nice and friendly. It is also veteran owned. I just wish it wasn’t over an hour away. I definitely recommend this place.

food was delicious. service was okay, didn't really feel welcomed. not sure if it's originally a self service kinda place, or it's only because of covid? you have to pick up your food from the front and clean up after yourself. i just wasnt expecting this, i normally prefer receiving service but it's cool. got the pork katsu with curry and then added mini udon. it comes with rice, salad and macaroni. i liked the chewy udon noodles and it was delicious. the pork katsu was crispy and there was decent amount of pork inside. i think this is the only place in houston that has visible pork in pork katsu lol. the portion was huge, which is great for the price you are paying. the salad went well and the curry tasted like homemade which was a perf dip for the pork katsu. i prob would be back when im craving the food. their sofa seating is comfy! the music is a bit loud though.

Craveonomics review: #1st time here Monday - 12:30 1. The entrance: location is off westheimer and dunvale in a 2-story shopping center. located on the 1st story. I think this location is great for serving this area, such a mix of service type businesses, but i'm curious to check our their other locations. 2. The first vibe: small inside, comfy couches line the wall, transparent plastic chairs with a lot of lean back lol. Kpop plays on the screens and on the speakers. 3. Time 2 table: 10 mins - we went on a monday, and we were the only ones in here. 4. The menu: Simple, I'm going to try the udon noodles next time. Bang for your buck. 5. The server: no server, lady at the register was helpful and patient 6. The drinks: plenty of bottle drinks at the register in an open reach in fridge - topo chicos, bottled sodas, and different flavors of jarritos 7. The food: great! so this is my first time having katsu and It was really fresh, i believe all the katsus come with rice, salad, and macaroni salad. The salad was simple - reminds me of the "palate cleanser" salad you get before ramen. Yummy ginger dressing :) Katsu was freshly tenderized and crispy. Rice was cooked perfectly, and our fan favorite was the macaroni salad - served cold and tasty. I believe the brown sauce that comes with it is the tonkatsu sauce which is basically bbq sauce. but they have ketchup and sriracha available too - in covid friendly to go packs 8. The dessert: didn't get any, not sure if they have any 9. The management: I think he was stocking up the cooler while we were there. Nice guy from the 5 second interaction we had lol 10. The cleanliness: Covid clean! staff had masks and the tables were clean **also to note - this is a veteran owned - business! Thank you for your service. Be sure to follow us for future food adventures! IG: @craveonomics

From the pictures online of the food I was worried it might just be Instagramable food, but it tasted better than it looked. Everything is clean neat, and thoroughly thought out. The chicken and cheese katzu were amazing. The chicken was so soft and tender you didn’t even need to bite into it hardly and it just almost melted in your mouth. Owner seems knowledgeable and like good people. Looking forward to coming here more regularly.
