Great place to throw a rager! Jake and Holly are really great to work with! They can probably hook you up with porta-johns, insurance, security, and even sound if needed. Holly was very supportive and Jake was very positive making them a great team to work with. I admit there felt to be some minimal over-promising regarding amenities but we got what we paid for and were happy with it. The terrain is absolutely beautiful to anyone not too familiar with the area's scenic landscapes. Last I knew, the GPS coordinates will take you up a bluff and back down on a very rough road/horse trail. Do not use GPS to get there by vehicle. I'm not sure horses would appreciate this route either. - LeftOnLocust
Gorgeous place and great hosts. Love the pasture option for horses. Make sure to condition horses as trails are a definite workout and some pretty challenging and strenuous. Some trails are rocky, especially newer ones so boots or shoes might be a good idea. Also not a bad idea to carry some water for horses on long rides as there is no water along trails. Some of the southern Oak Ridge/ Wetbark Recreation State forest trails are closed due to being purchase by private landowners. Current map of Oak Ridge/ Wetbark Recreation area is online on DNR website.
I put on a music festival (The Galactic Get Down) at Outback Ranch, and Jake and Holly were amazing to work with. They have a beautiful family, and take amazing care of their beautiful property.
