We decided to give this place a shot while we were checking out the new complex. Food was satisfying and delicious. Nice menu to choose from. We asked for recommendations of dishes that they would make vegetarian and noodles to be with absolutely no spice to mAke it kid-friendly. We enjoyed the meal and would recommend this place to our friends.

Was in the area, so decided to check out PappaRich. The beef rendang, is slow cooked, tender. Could use some trimming on the gelatinous fat portion on the meat. The coconut and Malaysian spices are creamy and rich. I loved the tangy pickle on the side. it's the perfect palate cleanser after each bite. the beef broke effortlessly with a fork. check out the entire menu, they have vegetarian options as well. Definitely recommend this . service was great, staff is friendly.
We had an excellent meal with quality service. While Banana Leaf was fantastic a few years ago and is still a pretty good Houston favorite...quality has gone down a bit. PappaRich does have slightly smaller portions, but the flavor is on point. Presentation is excellent as you can see in the pictures. It is a casual sit down place at Food Street on Bellaire.
Everything was excellent! We tried several dishes and all were great. Special highlight on the nasi goreng because it was so yummy! The beef noodles were wonderfully flavored. Also tried the salt and pepper steak which was lathered in a delicious sauce. Would definitely recommend this place for those looking for authentic Malaysian food in Houston.
I came to this place last Friday for my first time with my husband and loved it! The portions are small so you have to order a few dishes. The flavors and presentation are great! Their spicyness level is okay- Not too spicy and nonspicy. I recommend everyone to try this place out!
Good food but Very rude.... I always would recommend this place but not after today they were so rude and didn't even care they tried to make it my fault.... one guy was nice the others not
Excited to have a modern Malaysian restaurant in Chinatown Houston. Comfortable interior, quality dishes, friendly services. Haven’t had a chance to try its Hainan chicken yet, a dish for the next visit.
Tasty chicken wings and naan, sauce appetizers. Flat noodle and thin noodle dishes had the right amount of spice. Malaysian food has curry spices.
