I had a work-related accident in 2017. After the operation I was recovering for 8 month. After my union, Seafarer International Union (SIU) contract, I was payed 16 / day 480 / month. I was bummed. 2 month later, same union, same company, different vessel. I had another accident. 16 / day again! I couldn’t hold my self over water.
