Have only had the chance to use him twice. But I will be back. First guitar just needed drilled for a pickup jack. He did it inexpensively and even installed the acoustic pickup for me while I waited. Second guitar was a very sentimental Taylor that had a cracked top that was causing issues with the sound and the action. Brian fixed it all and the guitar sounds and plays perfectly. Action is exactly where I would want it and it sounds beautiful (better than before the crack because of his perfect set up). He did it in less time and with less cost than he quoted.

I had a beautiful Spector Euro bass that got a nasty gouge on the side of the fretboard from something leaning on it. It was ugly and you could feel it when sliding your hand up and down the neck. I was super bummed out about it. Brian fixed it so it was virtually undetectable. This guy does amazing work.

As a music instrument retail shop owner from 2010 to 2015 in Mechanicsburg, Pa, I used Brian exclusively for all of my guitar work. He always had fair prices but most importantly his estimates were spot on (compared to actual finish ones) AND he always fulfilled his promised time of completion. He also was willing to give advice beyond my expectations and took time to "teach" me about the various aspects of guitar rebuilding and hand making. It was a pleasure dealing with such a honest luthier and repairman. We also sold his custom handmade guitars and discovered they were a great value compared to the national known brand names. If you are in the market for any top of the line, hand-built custom guitar, do yourself a favor and sample his guitars before you give up your hard earned cash on anything else!
