One of my family members is a patient here and he’s had nothing but positive things to say regarding his treatment for alcohol. Rick spoke with me before the assessment, answered all my questions, and explained the treatment process so that I could understand it. I found Rick to be extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I understand that they don’t cure people who struggle with alcohol but this is the first time that my family member has been hopeful about the treatment plan they put together. I really see a desire to do the work, finally, and to not want to drink today. Thank you Rick and Ken, I’m very grateful! And for those of you that can’t find a place to park, that’s on you. I’m parked behind the building staring at 30 empty parking spots.

Rick is a wonderful counselor. He is down-to-earth and very easy to talk to. He has so much life experience himself, that you truly do feel that he can relate to how you feel. Can honestly say I am grateful I was referred to them. It was bittersweet when I finished my program. The reviews about parking are ridiculous. His location is in downtown Howell so finding parking is the same as any place that is in a downtown area. I personally have never had a problem finding parking.

I got to know Rick as a counselor, when i was paroled from MDOC. We put together a plan for recovery. After a couple years went by and i became eligable to apply for my driving privelages back, i went to rick for my assesment. We talked about what that would mean for my sobriety and the challenges i would face. We divised a plan and implemented it. Today i am driving.
