Unique building with amazing character. Saw Heywood Banks perform. Picture is of upstairs area that needs to be renovated before it's usable. It closed down in 1924.

This place has character! My brother held his wedding reception here, and the venue was perfect for the occasion! The acoustics make it difficult to hold meetings (unless you use their sound equipment) so I would recommend a visit in advance if you plan to do any type of meeting/speaking/etc. I would recommend this venue for special occasions.

For over a decade the Howell Opera House has been the go-to venue for the Homeless Awareness effort for Livingston County! I love the set up, the support for our efforts, and the kindness of Chris meeting our needs for decor!

Good size room, very cute. Historic, chic type feel. I only attended an event here, I didn't host it so I can't speak on what I experienced as a guest. Not sure how the kitchen type area was or the administrative part of it. But from a guests point of view it was very nice.

Cool small market of arts, crafts, and a few food vendors(cheese, popcorn, cooking salts). Worth checking out one Sunday.

The Howell Opera House is a shining gem in Livingston County. The Council had done a tremendous job in renovating and operating this unique historic "venue". Sharon Fisher and the rest of the fine people provide superior service to clients and help to make all events and occasions special.
