WOW. Landsted homes have always had an outstanding reputation for quality, which is very much deserved. My husband and I lived in a home which Landsted built, and it was the best home we have ever owned. Mark Erickson paid attention to every detail, and it showed. We lived in an area which has many homes built by Landsted, and each one is unique and masterfully crafted. Mark and Karin have always been beyond outstandingly professional in detail, communication, quality construction and follow-through. I highly recommend Landsted Home Builders.

We had Landsted both build our house and later finish our lower level. After visiting their model home and seeing the quality of the work I knew I wanted them to build my home. Visit a model home and I'm sure you'll see the difference yourself. In both experiences they came in budget and on time.
My wife and I have remodeled nine homes and on all remodels signed a contract with a building contractor. With the exception of Landsted Companies, we have always had a positive experience. We signed a contract with LC in January 2018 to remodel our home in Hudson which was the biggest mistake of our lives. Instead of a happy experience it turned into a nightmare for both of us. They made changes without talking to us that made it a more lucrative contract for them and for no other reason. Here we are in our second year of nightmares on a contract that was supposed to have been completed within six months. My wife and I advise anyone who is considering Landsted Companies for any kind of work whether it be a new home or remodel reconsider and look elsewhere. As I said we still have not come to an agreement to complete this contract. More to come....Bob and Diane Graham - Hudson, WI I said in my last comments that I would return again. I was hoping that it would be resolved and it wouldn't be necessary. However, it has not been resolved. Mark, the owner of Landsteds, has refused to return my attorney's calls and has changed his own attorneys several times and I believe has advised them that he would handle my situation on his own. As it turns out after a thorough review of the job, Landsteds owes me money which he refuses to acknowledge and return my attorney's phone calls. Once more I will advise anyone considering Landsteds for any kind of a job, new home or remodel, look elsewhere. There are some great companies and Landsteds is not one of them. Robert Graham
Built several properties in my life - this was the WORST experience ever. Unorganized, unethical, STAY AWAY! BTW - Vicky Erickson (5 star review below) looks familiar - maybe Landsted owner Mark Erickson's wife????
No value. No vision. No organization. No ethics. I hope someone reads this review before going through the hell my husband and I went through for 18 months.
