Smh! Getting on a payment plan is like selling your soul! You can’t even request a split payment if you happen to fall short! You better make that payment on time or you WILL be cut off! We’re in the crux of a pandemic where people are blessed to even have a hot meal; but SMECO could care less! Pay up or FREEZE! No working with you at ALL! Such a shame that we are FORCED to have to deal with them, and not have any other viable options! Can someone PLEASE buy them out, or give us Southern Marylanders other options!

Power Lines are underground in the Preserve neighborhood and we constantly get power outages when storms roll in. Makes absolutely no sense to me because I never had an issue when I lived in Montgomery County and was serviced by BG&E. Too, too hot for this nonsense. Someone needs to look further at this company and correct the issues.

Power goes out everything there is a thunderstorm in Brandywine. This is aftet they install a bunch of new electrical boxes i the are. Yesterday outage lasted 10 hours. Let's see how long this one takes. Terrible service. Never thought I would crave to have Pepco back.

I wish I would have gotten everyone's names! Was living in a house until it unexpectedly needed a heavy up and reintroduction to smeco.. took a few weeks for all the repairs but once everything was done and the next steps were in SMECOS hands they moved as fast as possible to get us out of that motel and back home. They called and checked up on the process and then stayed around to make sure everything was ok after hooking the electric back up to the house The amount of care these strangers had for us was so heart warming. Everyone that I spoke to and worked with was so nice! Thank y'all SO MUCH!!!

Frequent outages and terrible response times. Every thunderstorm our power seems to go out. Right now it's been over 7 hours with no electricity, our power has come back on 3 times only to be shut off again shortly thereafter. How TF are we supposed to sleep right now in the dead heat of summer.
