Beautiful campgrounds! They have a live animal exhibit that includes a bald eagle, coyote(please don't howl at it), 2 different foxes, and an otter and beaver that are the best of friends, even though the beaver keeps trying to escape! Can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can go again.

We do love Sequoyah State Park... beautiful views, lots to do. But... the rooms in the lodge need an update... they have a cool mid-century vibe, but they smell musty. Love the rooms that open to the pool area. We watched a movie on the lawn and my grand kids enjoyed the pool and playground. This fall, we stayed in a large cabin with mice, spiders, and bugs of all sorts. The girls pulled back the covers on one bed and there were bug remains in the sheets. The doors/ door knobs were disgustingly dirty... Management did give us a reduced rate when we told them, so I appreciate that. The restaurant is good... cute lobby area and little store. You can rent golf carts, ride horse, fish, swim...

Really nice staff! We were the only ones there and they talked to us as long as we were asking questions. They have a beaver and otter that live together...so cute!

Tranquility at it's finest. Not only is it beautiful, it's so friendly. We loved watching the deer play with their babies. Our Westie's had a great time. My niece & nephew had a blast driving a rental golf cart & riding horses. Everything was very clean. We met some very nice people there, too. It was less than a hour from our home in Tulsa. We will be spending lots of time here in the future. You should, too!!
