Extremely slow service, they will not answer your calls or address any major concerns even if you email them. I was turned away from the front office as soon as I walked in and they told me to refer back to the website for any questions I may have.

Child support division is lazy, slow and extremely rude. Whoever the supervisors are that are in charge of this department should make some major CHANGES. The unwillingness to help is out of this world.
Hold time is longer than an hour. I’ve been trying to speak with my caseworker since 9 am and I’m still currently on hold. The caseworkers do not provide extension numbers like other counties.
I am a college student who also works but doesn't get paid nearly enough to stay afloat. I just moved to Montgomery in August and have since then had a hard time applying for food stamps. I finally got through to someone in February and sent in all my paperwork. But the next month I get a letter telling me that my case is being closed because they don't have my paperwork . I'm actually on hold as I type this and I've been waiting now for an hour and 10 minutes and still no one. This service is terrible and with the quarantine going on and millions of people out of work now is not the time to be cutting off food stamps to people who need it. It is damn near the end of April and I haven't had any food stamps since February.
Who ever answers the phone is very rude and seems like they like to argue about the mistakes they made and also they keep you on hold for over a hour just to be mean
