Huntel can and will get you a telephone system that meets your needs, however the process will not be smooth and some of the company's technicians are not trained fully on the newer systems and especially on delivering customer service. I have 2 Huntel installed phone systems that power three of our business locations. Huntel failed to change the default system admin password on one of our systems when it was installed resulting in thousands of dollars in hacked phone calls being placed through our phone system. They resolved the problem quickly by changing the phone system password and we didn't think much of it after that. Three years later our main phone (handling all voicemail) died. We ordered a new one which Huntel sold us eagerly. Weeks went by and no one came to install the equipment for us. When we finally got someone to look into it they said we must have changed the PBX system password (which we did not) and would need to pay 350 to have it unlocked. Additionally we would also need to buy an additional 650 in software assurance plans before they could install the replacement phone. We chose Huntel because their Mitel systems were very cost competitive up front, but we honestly wish we would have gone somewhere else at this point. We have little faith in Huntel's ability to deliver good customer service and their disorganization has directly impacted the service levels we offer to our customers. We have no choice but to spend the money at this point, so we will. If your main concern is a low-cost phone system up front they can do it. If you are looking for a long-term communications partner that can offer evolving communication solutions Huntel should not even be a consideration for your organization.
