How do I begin to explain the impact the Huntersville Chamber has had in my life? From supporting my Cub Scouts to assisting with job and networking opportunities, Jill Swain and her staff/board work tirelessly to assist the members of the community; and not just the residents of Huntersville, but everyone in our local triangle of Huntersville, Cornelius & Davidson. Case and point, I was let go from my job 10 months ago and I was on a desperate search for employment. Jill put me in direct contact with influential people to network. Then there was Huntersvilleworks. A new job search site for locals. A real site, with real employers looking to actually hire and not just throw you in the abyss. After 10 MONTHS of searching indeed, Glassdoor, linked in, etc. One search on Huntersvilleworks and I was called within the hour, interviewed with in the week, and hired the same day! I cannot express my gratitude to Jill and the board for their vision and hard work to make our community stronger and healthier by showing us how to support one another through the power of networking and supporting local. If you are not a member yet, joining the Chamber will be one of the best business decisions you make and if you are looking to get connected or employed I behoove you to try Huntersvilleworks or reach out to the chamber directly for excellent service, support, and results.
