Just moved in earlier this month & had 1,000 worth of furnitures delivered to their packages lobby. I left the packages there for 2 days hoping to come back & retrieve them with the appropriate tools (dolly/truck/etc) & they were all gone. I contacted the apartment staffs & they told me someone probably took them. So I asked them to look into their “24/7 surveillance camera” located at the corner of the ceiling inside the lobby to see who took those packages or when they were taken. The apartment staff isn’t doing anything about the situation even though the whole purpose of the 24/7 surveillance camera is to make sure packages don’t get stolen. They even had a sign put inside the lobby that says so. Yet they refused to help look into the situation. So if you live here & have your packages delivered inside the so-called “secured” lobbies, you have a 50/50 chance of actually receiving them or getting any help of looking into missing packages from the apartment staffs. They take zero accountability nor help you look into the situation. They’ll probably tell you that “you should have taken your packages as soon as they’re delivered! Too bad”.

Everything is great. It is clean, comfort, calm and very good place to live. Strongly recommended.
A few tips for new tenants: 1) the amenities are CLOSED due to COVID. No foreseeable future opening date 2) the higher the floor you’re in the less dust you’ll get in from the street/car pollution. Not sure why it’s SO dusty, seems like soot 3) benefit of being on the top floor is less dust and no ppl above you 4) dog park is tiny, if you’re relying on that for your dogs exercise, don’t 5) you’ll have to obtain renters insurance prior to moving in. Also have to pay for other utilities 6) parking is not always available 7) grocery shopping is a chore, lugging things up to your apt is torture 8) tons of dogs and for some reason bad parents that don’t pick up after them but I’m happy to see a lot of fur babies
Boardwalk by Windsor is not the same place we moved into 3 years ago! Tenants of low income are allowed to rent and almost a certainty their rent is different from other renters. While there are those who are decent, there are those who are rough and choose to live in a way not appropriate for luxury complexes ! While this is suppose to be a strictly non smoking complex, the smell of “weed” reeks in elevators , hallways and garage structure and common areas . Complaints have been endorsed to the Management by some residents who pay a good amount of to live in a luxury complex , very little has been done to fix this issue ! Thrash is left everywhere , dogs are not curbed , 1 parking space assigned an extra space would be paid for ! It makes no sense to live in an already rough neighborhood and spend almost 3000/month in rent while you can do this in South Central LA for 1000/ month !
Quiet community, ideally located in Huntington Beach. I have lived here for over two years and I have felt a sense of home. Great value and the location to the outdoor mall and freeways is very convenient. Maintenance requests are always completed promptly and the package service and mail room are exceptional. With the current pandemic it is great to see most people following the guidelines and I know the gym and pool will reopen when it is safe to do so. Thank you to the maintenance staff for your tireless work in keeping the place clean. I just wish some of the lazy dog owners would do the same. Thank you to the office staff for doing your best and special thanks to Kelly M for always going above and beyond.
