I bought 5 lessons last year. Simon is very nice. I asked questions a lot. You know you should practice a lot and ask a lot then you can improve. Weeks a go he told me on ins that I still have 2 classes and call me back. I have totally forgot it. Now I have my own board 6'4'''l, and I decide to take the class again on to improve more, and I know how to use the short board mooch better. By the way I used to lost my key in my car in the Simon Waze he's friends took almost 2 hours to help me take out of the key,other leave they are very good guys just surfers you know, they like Birds. they love freedom so they choose this job

Great experience with these guys! Took a little while to get through but left a voicemail and received a phone call and email 2 hours later. Very easy to set up a lesson, I told them the dates I wanted, paid the fee and received an email with my receipt and some registration forms. The day before my lesson I received another email as a reminder of the lesson. Turned up to the lesson at 9am and met my instructor. He had all the equipment ready with a variety of wetsuits and boards. There were 2 others in my group and we all had a blast. The instructor was clearly experienced and I heard later he was a former professional surfer! He went through everything with us on the beach and looked after us in the water. He was in great shape and was swimming and treading water with is the whole time! All 3 of us were up and riding waves by the end of the lesson. It was truly awesome! I'll be booking again. The manager also followed up with an great email and I've since contacted them for advice on boards to buy. Truly great service and experience. I highly recommend them to anyone!!

We bought surf lessons for 4 children while on a 3 week vacation. After a shark spotting and the company canceling twice because of large waves we never got to take our lessons. We were promised a refund but upon return from our vacation we cannot get a return phone call, email, social media message... This has been going on for 10 months and I am certain I will never see my 200 again. Extremely disappointed in the integrity of this company.

Paid 200 for lessons and they canceled twice while my niece and nephews were here visiting from the east coast. Now they will not return phone calls, emails or Instagram private messaging. I have a email from Simon offering a full refund, but no response from him or anyone in the company. This has been going on since August. DO NOT give them your money!!!! There should be a zero star offered for reviews.

Simon and his crew are a very helpful group of instructors. I had never touched a surfboard prior to my first lesson and by the end I was had ridden multiple waves in. I highly recommend to anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of surfing. Only complaint: their location on the beach is difficult to find the first time (look for blue tent behind Zacks Too restaurant) other than that it was a perfect experience!

Thank you for a wonderful time! We had our lesson rescheduled due to high surf, at first we were a little pissed because we had been excited to surf. But they did send us a detailed email including an explanation on the high surf, riptide and even a link to the weather alert. Later I saw on the news that a man had been killed in a rip current that day, so we were very grateful the school had looked out for us as beginners. We were given a lesson credit to be used anytime in the next year with priority booking. We booked for 3 days later lol... The lesson was awesome, very relaxed and zero pressure. We were well looked after and took breaks when we wanted. The lesson was 3 hours total so there was plenty of time. The instructions were clear and they have a great teaching style. I really felt welcomed into the wonderful world of surfing and I am continuing my lessons with the OC surf school. Great people, highly recommended for beginners!!!

I had so much fun surfing for the first time. Simon and nico were amazing instructors and patient. I would definitely surf with the oc surf school again. In my own mind i thought i would turn pro after one lesson. No not the case, surfing is way more difficult than i imagine. Much respect to all surfers. Amazing time. Thanks again !

Girlfriend was sweet enough to gift 5 lessons. CANCELLED ALL OF THEM. When we contacted them for a refund, they started ignoring all communications (email and voicemail). DO NOT TRUST. You will lose your money, not get service, and hope your credit card company insured the purchase.
