Patience and superior customer service are the best two words to describe these gentlemen. Was here today to rent a tux for my upcoming wedding. I had major issues finding what I wanted at 4 other stores. This place sat down with me and my father to get exactly what we were looking for. I was given a beautiful tailored fall leather jacket by my then girlfriend as a gift. It fit perfectly with the exception that the sleeves were too long. I had never been in to the shop but always admired it and it’s traditional London Saville Row look that I had recalled from my days attending a school semester in London. They treated me as if I was a long time client and made the appropriate alterations within a week. Alas I switched careers from Manhattan business to healthcare shortly after my experience with these fine gentlemen, otherwise I’d have them making all my suits and shirts! This kind of attention to product detail, craftsmanship and service is rare to find these days.

My husband and I were engaged for over a year and used that time to plan every detail of our wedding. However, we had deemphasized our tuxedos, since we knew conceptually what we wanted, and thought for sure renting would be easy. About a month before the wedding, we quickly learned that, given our athletic body types (my husband is a 44L with 32” waist), we couldn’t rent or even buy off the rack. Panic struck! But then we found Thomas Mitchell. The timing was going to be tight, but Thomas was able to design, fabricate, and tailor-fit custom-made tuxedos for us within 4 weeks. We cannot thank Thomas enough. We received innumerable compliments on the tuxedos, which were just one more element that made it the best night of our lives!
