Williamson County Landfill has the most reasonable prices around, and there aren’t strong winds like the Travis County dump. It makes dumping much more pleasant and safe if you’re a resident unloading by hand. Both times I have dumped there the staff has been courteous and informative, as well. At this point, it’s the only dump I’ll go to in the area for experience and because they haven’t tripled or quadrupled their rates in the last 5 years.

Called ahead for a load of concrete waste and was never told about the requirements for a reflective vest, a tarp for heavy concrete or the limiting of hours after 4 PM for residents. The lack of signage confuses people. I had to get directions from drivers on where to unload concrete. Waste Management treats their people poorly. I feel bad for them. Are there any happy employees at this location? Clarity. Directions. Organization are all lacking. Not a good business model.
I spend like 25 minutes in line, when I get to the scale, we are close at 4 even though I was in line before 4. So, I try calling ahead right at 7am, when they open to ensure I won’t find any other issues or surprises and no one answered the phone. I tried calling like 10 times I started at 7am when they claim to be there... no one will pick up.. this is a horrible experience, I have been trying to dump for 2 weeks already..
Everyone was very nice. The gentleman telling us where to go was very nice, helpful and had a great personality Virtually no wait, it was a piece of cake!
Recycle center as first tin building to your left after you turn onto landfill Rd. The other entrance for landfill/dump it's down road past the recycle center. I gave 5 star review cuz of ease of access-- clean, neat facility--staff members friendly, helpful, courteous; although was disappointed facility no longer has hazardous waste disposal capability
