This is currently my favorite restaurant in town. We get the Szechuan boiled fish and the cumin beef every time and it is incredible. Every time I have that first bite of boiled fish everything goes quiet and soft and right with the world. The boiled fish comes in a generous portion and we almost always have enough for lunch the next day. I am so grateful this restaurant is here. Their food truly brings me joy. Their service has always been exceptional. I am already looking forward to all our future meals here.

Flavorful, authentic Sichuan cuisine, served by friendly staff. We ordered 香辣鸡丁 Spicy Crispy Chicken and 孜然羊肉 Spiced Lamb with Cumin Flavor to go. It was ready by the time we arrived (15 minutes), and they didn't become soggy sitting in their containers while we transported them to a park. Wonderful balance of spice and flavor, and not too oily. The only things I might change is increasing the spiciness of the chicken, which did not deserve its 3-pepper rating, and cutting the onions into strips rather than dicing them for the lamb, since the little onion pieces got lost in the oil at the bottom. All in all, delicious, and we'll be back.
Walking distance from Meriter hospita if you don't want to eat there. Unique flavors you won't find elsewhere in Madison, worth a trip to explore. Be aware that some country-style dishes contain pieces of bones.
I like to go with friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is appetizing and the crew is very friendly and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we have a pleasant time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.
Food is good. Portions are generous and have good flavors. Maybe a bit too much salt, but that's personal preference.
