It was closed but looks nice
Idaho city is a nice hidden gem. There is lots of history around the gold mining and the build up if Idaho. The visitors.center gives you a nice introduction and a map showing you where the majors historical buildings are. It's a great way to spend a Saturday. Clean restrooms too if you need a quick break.
One of my favorite places to go camping. Took the grandkids sledding outside of town and it was perfect. Hope to so it again before the snow is gone.
Fun town. Pioneer cemetery is worth the hike. Great ice cream at Sasparillas.
