This place is amazing!!! The view is gorgeous and being in nature makes your soul and body recharge. Love coming here for my first visit to Washington and will be back.

Great walk and overlook of the Columbia River Bar. Lots of areas to explorer and not too many people around. Close proximity to Ilwaco and long beach as well so he sure to check out what they have to offer.

Cape Disappointment is one of the most gorgeous parks in Washington. The ocean views and vistas are absolutely beautiful. Several great hiking trains and a nice campground. We visit every chance we get.

This is a lovely place to visit. We did not find much information posted about the walk from the parking lot to the lighthouse itself. The trail ends up taking you around a cove, so you begin the journey by walking away from the lighthouse, through the woods, and eventually to a road that leads to the lighthouse. By the time you reach the paved section, you're about halfway there. It's not a difficult hike, but be on the lookout for slippery sections on the trail, particularly around the elevation changes. The views are well worth the trip.
