It's a gym that serves it's purpose. Full of free weights and all of the necessary equipment to get the job done and then some. Plenty of cardio machines/options. It's cleaned daily and organized. Welcoming for all fitness levels. It's not so busy that you can't function. They've recently updated the bathrooms, locker rooms, fresh paint, basketball courts and more than I have space to list. They provide personal training, meals, supplements, skin care spa and numerous classes at additional cost. They suffered after the hurricane but seem to be making a fairly nice comeback as it's obvious that the owners are investing in making it better on a daily basis. Good luck finding anything better in Panama City. I LOVE this gym. I don't think the low rating is fair/accurate. Seems to me the low ratings are due to people signing a one year contract that they weren't prepared to follow through on. Highly recommend.
Owner is sketchy, he charged me 90 in 2 days, when I called to find out why he “left town”. I’m assuming that’s the reason he needed the extra this month. I left a message with secretary and never got a call back from him

Collectors alert!!!!! I got my membership for this gym in September. After the hurricane they closed due to the damage. On their Facebook page they posted that none of their members will be billed for their memberships. On February first i got a call from a collector (Swiftfund Financial Services) claiming that i have a debt from Impact fitness. Their total with all their fees is 800. Trying to figure out what has happened i called Impact fitness number, it doesn't work. Contacted Robert Moriarty on facebook and here i have to be fair, he got back to me very quickly, saying that he is going to send the email to their billing company to solve that problem. He also send me a copy of that email. On February 4th at 6 pm i got another call from the same collector asking me if i am ready to pay. The collector didn't get any update on my case and didn't see it on my file while we were speaking. I have to say that never Mr. Moriarty never apologized for caused problems and sounded like its their billing company mistake. My credit score has already been affected by that situation. I am leaving this review for people to know that it can happen to them if they get a membership with this gym.
