Again, a wonderful dinner tonight with delicious French red wine. The owner Dave came out and said hello. We had the fabulous oysters (my son had 3 orders), the lobster bisque was amazing and the wedge salad with bacon wrapped dated was also delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening. We ate too fast and missed photos

1st time to this timeless country style French restaurant. A 5 course 70 menu is available, but we chose individual items. There is a variety of starters and salads that include escargot and foie gras. A fine lobster bisque soup. Started with large crab cake appetizers which had ample crab and a delicate flavor. The Caesar salad with fresh anchoivies has crisp Romaine leaves. The lamb loin was very tender and flavorful. Halibut was thick, tender, and had a fine mild flavor. Plenty of options for vegetarian or vegan. Dessert was a taster plate of 4 items: lemon meringue tart (fabulous!!), creme brulee, cheesecake, and a maccaroon. Ample wine list with a full bar. Seating was either inside or outside with social distancing protocols being followed. Worthy of a ice\ dinner out!

If any of you want the best, most professionally cooked, juicy, flavorful steak in ALL of Lake Tahoe then this is the place to get it! Their Filet was soooo juicy, tender, and full off flavor! Friday’s Station of South Lake can’t touch this place with a hundred foot pole! I’ve eaten at many expensive restaurants that serve steak in all of CA, far more expansive then here, but this place beats them all! If I have anything negative about this place to say, then their dessert menu needs a little work. The miniature dessert bites are a little pretentious, the flavor and imagination is completely lost there...but it does look a little cute so presentation isn’t that bad. We should have stuck to having desert cocktails for desert instead.

Had a chance to meet the owner while dining here. Come ready to eat and take your time. If you are in a rush you aren't here to enjoy the entire dining experience. Food was impeccable. Had a couple bottles of Chianti with a group of 4. Escargot was well prepared. I rave about the lobster bisque. Clean, warm inviting atmosphere with a solid menu offering that will match the hunger it creates

Had dinner here on our last day in Lake Tahoe, we both had the five course dinner (this can be customized, you can select different courses from a list), with wine pairing on the appetizer and main course. The food here was excellent, defiantly a step up compared to the restaurant on our resort here in Lake Tahoe. The service was very friendly, will come back next time we're visiting the area.
