With the new guidelines, reservations have to be made 48 hrs in advance. But the woman that answers the phone was so polite and so helpful. When we arrived to go kayaking, she was ready for us, she had the kayaks out that we were going to be using and prepared. She made the signing in process completely stress free and easy. She also gave us the easiest advice to stay afloat. The area was beautiful. It was cloudy so really it was perfect weather. Not too hot. When coming back in the lady working met us to bring in the kayaks and the paying process was also easy. I'm looking forward to going back. The Atlantic kayak Co made this process just so easy I can't wait to get back out on the water through then again!

Kim and Amelia, out two guides, delivered a top-notch tour of Mallows Bay and the Ghost Fleet. If you schedule a tour, take the longer two hour version to enjoy the full effect. Kim started with a very informative historical perspective on how the Ghost Fleet came to be at the bottom of Mallows Bay and then she went into a review of the flora and fauna we were likely to encounter while kayaking. This context information made our time on the water all the more fulfilling. The tour is not strenuous, you meander at a slow pace from hull to hull of the Ghost Fleet remnants and enjoy how nature has taken most of it over. You will for sure see Ospreys, and if you are lucky bald eagles. Bring your camera, photo ops abound. Kim and Amelia handled our transition from land to water and back again seamlessly. Kayak experience is not necessary. We plan to go again later in the season, as we saw many things we want to explore further.
