This place is magical. My husband and I have been there multiple times and each visit was an awesome time! I can't wait to go back. Not sure what the guy with the rock throwing is talking about, but in response to that...there are signs posted around the property stating not to move or disturb the landscape. So ... It's clearly stated for a reason . There is a reason why they have been around for so long and a reason why the property looks so pristine. Maybe try to keep the charm because that's what people are looking for when they go away!

We absolutely love Pat and Jeff! We've been coming back year after year with our two boys and always have a wonderful time. This is a very special place and we always feel so fortunate to have found what we consider a rare gem in the heart of the Adirondacks.
I have been frequenting Twin Coves since it opened in 1954. I have found it to be THE BEST place to go to for R&R and more. The management, Pat and Jeff, always make all their guests feel welcome. They are the most pleasant, nicest people and welcome any suggestions for improvement. Twin Coves has a wonderful rural charm and throughout the years great care has been taken to keep that charm intact, even with any repairs and upgrades. Pat and Jeff's priority has always been the comfort of their guests. It is the awesome ambiance of Twin Coves that always keeps me going back for more. I highly recommend Twin Coves. You won't be disappointed ----rather, you will come away with a sense of peace and tranquility.
Cabins are all older, though this does add some charm. Age is not what I am looking for in my mattress however, and 2 of 3 of the ones with our rental were beyond awful. DO NOT BRING KIDS HERE! The owners strictly enforce \quiet time\ up to 10am. They also screamed at my 5 and 8 year old for skipping rocks from the beach; claiming that we were ruining the landscaping! They (THIS IS NOT A JOKE) threatened to increase our rent because of this. Again, 5 and eight year old on the beach, throwing the pebbles in the lake. They then just about lost their mind because the kids climbed a dirt hill that was on the property. These people should not own a resort; could not have been less friendly. The lake is amazing, gorgeous and usually empty. Come to the lake but stay somewhere else, or camp!
