Saturday 2 PM. I wanted to eat real good Indian Food. Google reviews led me to the Indian Restaurant & Universal Market in Mcallen. A small; Clean, Cozy Restaurant, located inside a real Indian store. The food looked and smelled great. Goat curry over rice-Naan Bread; A couple of bites and a had an explosion of flavors and taste that made me discover taste buds that I was not aware that I possessed.This Food is the real deal;Spicy and not a water down version of Indian food and even the flavor of the cold Tea is Undescribable . “ I Will Be Back”

Butter chicken was awesome. Rice pudding was creamy. Naan assortment was great. Coconut soup was a huge disappointed. I travel for a living. I eat Indian cuisine very often. As least once every couple weeks. This soup was totally bland. It has the potential to be something amazing. The only seasoning detected was salt. No cinnamon, cardamom or nutmeg. Not even a hint of lemongrass. While I have plans to order again soon. I'll definitely skip the soup next time.
