Amazing little place IF you are a fan. Great detail was put together on the different time frames of Jimmy's life. Workers were very informative, sometimes too informative. Nice gift shop but sizes were limited on shirts. Would have spent more time if possible. Would go again.

We’ve been meaning to come to this museum as a family for years. So glad we finally made it to celebrate the life of Jimmy Stewart and remember his wonderful contributions to the world - many of them contributions outside of the film industry. He is such an example of citizenship and patriotism. And I love that he put his family first. I hope this museum is around for years to come.

When visiting family in the area I always make it a point to visit The Jimmy Stewart Museum. It has been a few years since my last visit and might I say I really enjoyed visiting this last time around. From what I gather the museum just went through a remodel. There's a section for Indiana and the local history of the area. The Hollywood gallery wraps around the theatre along with an awards section. My two sons were amazed by the aviation/military exhibit. I was happy to see that they devoted a portion of the museum to his aviation/military career. I can tell you that my two sons spent the most time in that section. With the remodel I can say I enjoyed the museum more this time around. The Hollywood Gallery is all together, the Indiana portion is expanded, and the aviation/military is all together and is a great salute to Jimmy's military service. The staff working was great as well and informed me that they will have rotating exhibits. I guess I'll have to make a visit around Christmas time as they have an expanded It's a Wonderful Life exhibit.
