Got there and the room was dirty, the table stained and not covered. Then, they failed to prepare for the appointment and didn't have the supplies in stock to fill the (pre-made) order.

Don't drive a friend to Advanced OrthoPro! I drove a friend with an injured foot to Advanced OrthoPro. She was expecting insurance to pay, they demanded immediate payment. She was short the 20 to set up monthly payments so I paid with a credit card. Later, the shoe implants were worthless, so she didn't pay her bill. Advanced OrthoPro turned my name over to a collection agency! I signed no document authorizing them to bill me and had no accounts with them! If this isn't a form of credit card fraud, it is certainly unethical. Bring no friends to Advanced OrthoPro!

This place is has nothing to do with the word “health” or “care”. It would be better described as “cash USA” instead of a place to improve ones health. I broke my back in 2 places and when I came in to get the brace I needed they told me my insurance didn’t cover the brace and it would cost 1200 out of pocket. And that was a deal , regularly it was priced at 1900. Obviously I haven’t been at work because of my injury and couldn’t possibly afford it. So I went back to work braceless with the only support for my back being a brace I purchased at meijer. I was in so much pain yesterday I almost had to go back to the er because I thought I did more damage to my spine or nerves that the doctor warned me might happen if I didn’t wear the brace he ordered. Luckily a women from The Well Fund did a bunch of calling around only to find out that the specific brace I was ordered was covered by my insurance. I was on the phone line when this was verified and AOI biggest concern was that I sign a waiver Incase we were wrong about the coverage that I would be responsible for the amount of the brace. NEVER ONCE did they apologize for the mistake, In fact they denied that it was their fault or responsibility. They didn’t care that I had been in severe pain and that the mistake they made could have affected me for the rest of my life. The only concern they had was that I sign a waiver that I pay for the brace if insurance didn’t. They never even called to verify it for themselves. I will say the guy that fitted my brace was very nice, informative and professional. However the rest of the experience was extremely saddening. I think we all know our healthcare system is a joke but when the people working in it have no compassion, empathy and only care about money like at AOI then there is probably no hope for it. Please go somewhere else if you have that option.

I called multiple places for quotes for a custom orthotic. On the phone the receptionist here told me it should be roughly 200 ballpark. Her exact words were that it should be \150 to 200 roughly\. Another place I had called, hanger prosthetics assured me custom orthotics cost 300 flat there without insurance. for this reason I scheduled appointment with advanced Ortho pro. I woke up early, drove half an hour to my appointment only to be told that the pricing information was wrong and it would be closer to 400. Wasted my time because of a wildly inaccurate quote.
