I graduated December 2019. Ordered my cap and gown from here. Had my \mini\ ceremony in December 2019, but was expecting to do the University graduation May 2020. Unfortunately, IU made no arrangements where students who graduated in December 2019, could use the same cap and gown in the University graduation coming 2020, without having to pay AGAIN for the same cap and gown rental for May 2020 graduation. It was said that we needed to return the cap and gown the same day of our mini graduation ceremony. I couldn't return it the same day because my family lived out of state and was not able to attend that same day. So, I kept my gown and was hoping to return the next couple days. After being able to take pictures with my family, I reached out to my school to see if I could return it, but they were closed due to holiday. The only way to return was by mail so I reached out to Herff Jones for a free return shipment. They did NOT offer free returns for students. Instead, I paid 15 to return my cap/gown. I tried to ask if there were any way I could ship for free but no offer was given... HERE IS THE CATCH! A year later, I get an email from Herff Jones, offering FREE shipment for returns. Like what the heck Herff Jones. Way to go to customer service and accommodating to your customer needs.

What a terrible company. I placed my cap and gown order and they said it was impossible to be received before 6-8 weeks, so I scheduled my grad pictures around that. I contacted them the day the order was supposed to arrive at my house and they told me that it was delivered over a month ago. So, somehow it arrived to me TWO weeks after I placed it, but they failed to tell me about it and never sent me a shipping number so it apparently got lost in the mail. Then they were rude over email, transferred me many times over the phone, or just never answered the phone, and no one was even remotely helpful. When they did answer the phone, they made it seem like it was my fault and when I spoke to the local representative, Patrick Cavazos, he sided with his very unhelpful assistant, Brittany Parrish, even though she was in the wrong. My cap and gown finally got here and it is incorrect. The tassel is broken, the cap is too big, and the gown is too long even though I asked for an 8in clearance. This company is full of incompetent, rude workers who cannot do their job correctly. I paid 300 for a cap and gown that was not even made correctly. Thanks for ruining my graduation, Herff Jones!!
Overprice graduation regalia that is used and is a rental. Get ready to throw away 110 to a greedy organization. Such a shame that they feed upon already broke students. Hope they will have to pay for this greed one way or the other.
I recently was offered a seasonal position there and the interview went great I loved the interviewer but management and Human Resources are horrible I was going through family problems that was life changing and they told me they don’t care they follow the policy strictly after I had been communicating with the supervisor everyday and she did not one reply or schedule a meeting till they was ready to fire me and that was week two . Also when I started the supervisor stated she wouldn’t be here long I was profiled before I could even get my foot in the door because I’m BLACK WITH RED HAIR & Also Young . IM NEVER COMING BACK HERE I WOULDNT RECOMMEND IT TO MY DOG LET ALONG ANOTHER HUMAN IVE NEVER EXPERIENCE SO MUCH IN SO LITTLE TIME HORRIBLE JOB
They are terrible. I have requested repeatedly to be removed from their mailing list and they continue to send me promotional emails. Unsubscribing does not work. They love to spam.
